Conservation and development go hand in hand. The Himalayan region is one of the richest ecological hotspots in the world and is home to pristine wildlife and ecosystem. The conservation of these life forces is an important task of the people in mountain areas.
RTEES Nepal puts special emphasis on organizing programs related to environment and biodiversity conservation. Since our reception, we have organized several environment related training at local level, conducted environmental awareness campaign and directly contributed to the conservation of endangered species.
Previously we have collaborated with many environmental NGOs such as The Mountain Institute in the preservation and promotion of herbs and medicinal plants and conducting cleanliness programs. In addition RTEES Nepal have been actively involved in conservation of different species of flora and fauna and development of conservation policies and their implementation in collaboration with National Park, Buffer Zone Management Committee, District Forest Office and different National and International NGOs and Educational Institutions.
